Halpert Penitentiary Services

a_policeThe premise is simple. Sometimes there are people who haven’t committed any crime punishable by “law” and yet wealthy private individuals wish them to be incarcerated.

For many years it was necessary to keep such individual in a sturdy garden shed and to rely upon the groundskeeper and under-gardeners to protect the door.

But, no longer…

As of July 1998 Halpert Penitentiary Services (a nominal subsidiary of Halpert Life Sciences) has operated Camp Blind-Eye. This art of the state facility is located in a secluded valley on the Cuban mainland affording views of the Caribbean and of Guantanamo Bay.

At the time of writing Camp Blind-Eye is home to 27 “residents” and one “regretful volunteer” (Adam Wax-Bancroft). The “residents” have each been found guilty of one of the following infractions…

  • Looking at their betters
  • Not playing the game
  • Scruffiness
  • Damned insolence

It should be stressed that conditions at Camp Blind-Eye are in full compliance with the rules of the Geneva Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Our clients should rest assured that, since the incident, we have revised our policies. Henceforth we will not place any old but wily inmates in poorly constructed cells next to young vigorous types who are hell bent on escape and vengeance.  We shall not make that mistake a twelfth time.
