Adam Wax-Bancroft
Although separated from his wife (Sally Bancroft-Wax) by several thousand miles, a prison wall, a legal injunction and a pretty sturdy language barrier Adam persists in his belief that they will one day be reunited.
Adam is incarcerated at the detention facility just outside of Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. This facility is owned and operated (with the full knowledge and cooperation of the Cuban Government) by Halpert Penitentiary Services (a subsidiary of Halpert Life Sciences), his former employer.
It should be noted that Adam has never been charged with (or suspected of) any crime and that his stint behind bars is entirely voluntary. His theory is that several historical figures had their greatest success when writing from prison and so he has decided to spend some time locked up to try and jolt himself through a period of writer’s block.
As a result of a slight mix-up with the paperwork Wax-Bancroft is not eligible for parole until 2026. Oops.
